Announcing Ivana Speech to Text

Announcing a new speech to text capability in the Ivana Chat App.

Using the Ivana Chat App in iComply2, you can now upload your meeting audio files or voice recordings to Ivana. Let’s take a look at how it works:

Step 1: Select the Files Upload Icon

From the chat bar at the bottom of the screen, select the File Upload icon.

Step 2: Enable Speech to Text

To enable audio file functionality, click the ‘Speech to Text’ checkbox in the left menu.

Step 3: Upload Your Audio File

Drag and Drop your audio file into the file uploader.

Search your client, and click ‘Begin transcribing and indexing the document’

Step 4: Creating the Index

Your Audio file will begin indexing.

An index will be created in the left menu. You can chat to your index at any time by clicking on the index in the left menu.

Your audio file will be uploaded into a secure Azure environment and converted from speech to text. The text will then be embedded and indexed, in preparation for propmpting by Ivana.

Once the index has been successfully created, Ivana will notify you the index has been successfully completed.

Your index will be prefixed with ‘ts-’ meaning the index was created using text to speech.

Step 4: Start chatting

Type your prompt into the prompt input and click the send icon.

Tip: Try to be detailed and specific about the detail you wish to receive in your response. This is where prompting becomes a valuable skill.

Step 6: Ivana’s Response

Ivana will provide a response to your prompt based on the audio in the file.

Step 7: Copy and Paste the Response

You can copy and paste the response into your file note or any other business document template.
